Sariki has unveiled an innovative metrology solution at the Biennial Machine Tool Exhibition in collaboration with the Vicomtech technology center. This flexible and autonomous 3D scanning cell stands out for its adaptability and full autonomy in the production environment.

The flexibility of this solution is driven by the integration of a collaborative robot equipped with a Scantech scanner, enabling tracking of parts transported by mobile robots (AMR). This unprecedented flexibility in industrial settings allows for the inspection of various parts with high precision.

In addition, the cell is entirely autonomous. Thanks to the AMR integration, parts can be transported from any point in the production process to the inspection cell without human intervention, significantly reducing operational workload.

Vicomtech has partnered with Sariki in this development, showcasing its commitment to transferring advanced technologies such as vision, artificial intelligence, simulation, and computational geometry to the industry. The cell not only enables 3D scanning of parts but also facilitates dimensional reconstruction and the creation of quality reports.

This project, made possible with the support of SPRI, strengthens the long-standing relationship between Sariki and Vicomtech, and highlights the capability of both entities to develop innovative solutions with a broad impact across diverse industries such as aerospace, automotive, and auxiliary sectors.
