Sariki obtains quality certification UNE-EN 9100

Metrology Sariki has recently been certified under the quality standard UNE-EN 9100, by AENOR INTERNACIONAL SAU, for the service of measurement and inspection services of parts for the aerospace sector.

Sariki has taken an important step betting on the certification and specialization of measurement services for the aerospace sector, once again to be able to offer a service of high added value to its clients. Testing 100% of first samples, inspections against CAD, 2D and 3D scans, shape measurement, roughness and vision, 3D tomography inspection, … etc are services that are usually performed from the Sariki measurement services area.

AS 9100 is the Internationally recognized Standard for the specific quality system of the aeronautical industry. Known as AS 9100 in North America in 9100 in Europe and in Japan JISQ 9100, the standard was strongly supported by the major aircraft manufacturers, including Airbus, Boeing, GEAE and Rolls-Royce. In fact, EN 9100 certification has become the basic requirement demanded by all these companies from their suppliers.

Sariki is already on the OASIS platform (Online Aerospace Supplier Information System), which is a platform that groups all the companies certified under one of the standards of the Aerospace sector. The platform is managed by IAQG (International Aerospace Quality Group).

The IAQG is an international non-profit association with an office registered in Brussels (Belgium). It is a cooperative organization within the aerospace and defense industry composed of 3 sectors (America – AAQG, Asia / Pacific – APAQG and Europe – EAQG). The purpose of this association is to:

• Establish and maintain a dynamic, trust-based cooperation between aerospace and defense companies in initiatives to make significant improvements in quality performance and reductions in cost along the value chain.
• Continuous improvement of the processes used by the supply chain to offer products of high quality, reducing activities and costs without added value.

Continuing with its commitment to quality at the highest level, Sariki adds a new certification. With this, there are 3 official AENOR certifications that reward the quality of Sariki’s work: UNE-EN ISO 9.001, UNE-EN ISO 14.001 and UNE-EN 9.100.
